In practice
Example: AI reads a contract and lists the key terms
A small construction company receives a few dozen subcontracts and purchase terms each month. The director reads each one end to end to find deadlines, penalties and payment terms, and it takes hours.

A contract is uploaded to a Google Drive folder called “New contracts”. The workflow notices the new file and extracts its text.

The text goes to the OpenAI API with clear instructions and a JSON schema (Structured Outputs): parties, amounts, deadlines, penalties, liability caps and termination terms.

For each item, the model must point to the place in the contract it came from. If it can’t find a term, it says “not found” instead of guessing.

The result is written to a Google Sheets spreadsheet, one row per contract, and unusual terms, such as a very large penalty, are highlighted.

The director reviews the sheet and the contract passages where AI found a risk. The decision to sign or negotiate stays with him.
Result: The director no longer reads every contract end to end: he reviews a summary and checks the flagged passages. AI doesn’t replace a lawyer, but it helps find faster where to look.

Can I use my ChatGPT Plus subscription for the integration?
No. ChatGPT subscriptions and the OpenAI API are billed separately: integrations need an API account, where you pay for usage (tokens). We create the API account in your name, and I set monthly spending limits so the bill doesn’t surprise you.
Does OpenAI use my data to train its models?
Under OpenAI’s policies, data sent through the API is not used for training by default. OpenAI also offers data residency in Europe for some API customers, so if that matters to you, we check whether it’s available for your account. I don’t send personal ID numbers or other sensitive data the model doesn’t need.
What happens when OpenAI changes or retires a model?
OpenAI announces deprecations of older models in advance. I keep the model name in one setting and maintain a set of test examples, so when moving to a new model we can compare results before switching. The same applies if you want to move to another AI provider.
How much does an integration cost?
The first solution starts at €450. The price depends on how complex the workflows are and how many there are. I give you a fixed price in writing before work starts, with no commitment. Tool subscriptions usually cost €10–50/month.
What if the integration stops working?
For 30 days after launch I fix bugs for free. After that you can order support from €150/month (cancel any time). If something breaks because of outside changes, let me know and I will fix it.
