In short: the cheapest payment link for a business in Lithuania in October 2026 is Paysera Checkout Modern, because bank payments cost 0% and there is no monthly fee. If your customers pay by card, the lowest rate for local consumer cards is published by Revolut Business (1% + €0.20), and Stripe is the most convenient for customers abroad (1.5% + €0.25). Montonio is worth it if you also need shipping.
I checked all fees on the providers' pricing pages on October 17, 2026. Prices exclude VAT and apply to standard terms; providers offer custom rates for higher volumes. I am not affiliated with any of the providers and receive no commission for these recommendations.

How much will a payment link cost per invoice? Worked examples
Percentages and fixed fees give very different results for different amounts. Below is my calculation based on the standard rates (without monthly fees), rounded to the cent.
| Provider | €500 invoice, by bank | €500 invoice, by card | €50 payment, by card |
|---|---|---|---|
| Paysera Checkout Modern | €0 | from €6.25 | from €0.63 |
| Montonio Starter | €0.20 | €7.70 | €1.00 |
| Stripe | — | €7.75 | €1.00 |
| Revolut Business | — | €5.20 | €0.70 |
| MakeCommerce | €7.50 | €11.69 | €1.34 |
The takeaway is simple: for large B2B invoices, what matters most is that the customer can pay by bank. The card percentage on a €5,000 invoice already runs to several tens of euros. For small payments, the fixed part and the monthly fee matter more: Montonio's €11.99 per month only pays off once you have enough transactions.
Pros and cons of each payment link provider
Paysera. The new Checkout Modern version is for businesses registered in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia: bank payments from more than 15 Baltic banks (Swedbank, SEB, Luminor, Citadele, LHV, Revolut and others) with no commission, and cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay from 1.25%. The money reaches your Paysera account immediately. The downside: you need a Paysera business account, and recurring payments are still in preparation in the Modern version.
Montonio. A convenient payment form and a shipping solution in one: labels for all carriers, parcel locker selection and tracking emails. In a payment link, the buyer can also choose the delivery method. The price is a monthly plan (Starter €11.99) plus a per-transaction fee.
Stripe. Payment Links are created without coding and cost nothing extra: you only pay for successful payments. Strong for international customers, subscriptions and multiple currencies, with the best API documentation for automation. It does not offer Lithuanian bank payments (PIS) as a main method, so it is often more expensive for local B2B customers.
Revolut Business. If you already have a Revolut Business account, you can create a payment link in the app in a few seconds, add your logo, limit the number of uses and share it by email, text message or QR code. It has the lowest published rate for local consumer cards, but commercial and foreign cards cost 2.8% + €0.20.
MakeCommerce. An Estonian payment platform (formerly Maksekeskus) that supports many banks in Lithuania. Payment links are available to all customers without extra integration. In the Lithuanian price list, bank payments cost 1.5%, which makes this option the most expensive for large invoices.
Other options: Swedbank "Link Pay" links (custom pricing), Neopay, OPAY and SEB. You can compare their terms in the Bank of Lithuania's payment service fee comparison.
How to add a payment link to an invoice
- Open an account with the provider and pass the business verification (KYC). This takes from a few hours to a few days.
- Create a link with the amount, the invoice number and the payment reference. Most providers let you make a link single-use.
- Add the link or a QR code to the invoice PDF or the email you send it with. Keep your usual bank details next to it.
- Track the payment in the provider's dashboard or through email notifications.
- Mark the invoice as paid in your accounting software, by hand or automatically (see below).
- 1Payment Links
- 2+ New
- 3Select a product or + Add a new product
- 4Create link
Based on the Stripe documentation (checked October 23, 2026); names as in the English interface.
When you send many invoices, creating each link by hand is not worth it: through the provider's API, the link can be generated at the same moment the invoice is issued. Which invoicing programs have an API is covered in invoicing software in Lithuania 2026.
Automating the cycle: paid → invoice → accounting
The link itself saves your customer time. What saves you time is what happens after the payment. A typical automated cycle (an example of how I connect it with n8n or Make):
- A CRM deal is marked "won" or a contract is signed.
- An invoice is created through the API in your accounting software (Site.pro, Rivile, Invoice.lt or another).
- A payment link for that exact amount and invoice number is generated through the Paysera, Stripe or Montonio API.
- The customer receives an email with the invoice PDF and a payment button.
- The provider's webhook reports a successful payment: the invoice is marked as paid, the CRM is updated and the team gets a message.
- If no payment arrives after 7 days, a polite automatic reminder goes out with the same link.
I set up this kind of flow with the programs you already use from €450, in 1–2 weeks. Write to me which programs you use; I will reply by email, and we agree the scope and price in writing before starting. See process automation and pricing. How to choose a payment link provider: 5 questions
- How do your customers pay? Companies in Lithuania usually pay by bank; consumers and foreign customers by card.
- What is your average payment? For large amounts the percentage matters; for small ones, the fixed part.
- How many transactions per month? A monthly fee only pays off with enough volume.
- Where do you want to receive the money? Some providers require their own account; others pay out to any bank.
- Will you need automation? Check the API, webhooks and integrations with your accounting software or CRM.
Frequently asked questions
What is the cheapest payment link for a business?
If your customers in Lithuania pay by bank transfer, the cheapest option in October 2026 is Paysera Checkout Modern: bank payments cost 0% and there is no monthly fee. If they pay by card, the lowest published rate for local EU consumer cards is from Revolut Business (1% + €0.20) and Paysera (from 1.25%). For customers abroad, Stripe is the simplest choice (1.5% + €0.25 for EEA cards).
What is a payment link?
It is a web address that shows the customer the amount and the payment reference, and lets them pay by bank or card in a few seconds. You can put the link in an invoice, an email, a text message or a QR code; you do not need an online store for it.
Does a payment link replace an invoice?
No. A payment link is only a way to pay. You still have to issue an invoice with the required details and record it in your accounting. It works best when the link is placed in the invoice itself or in the email that sends it.
When does the money reach my account?
With Paysera Checkout Modern, bank payments are credited to your Paysera account immediately. Revolut states that card payments reach the merchant account within 24 hours. With Stripe you can set the payout schedule: daily, weekly or monthly.
Can an invoice be marked as paid automatically?
Yes. All five providers have an API or webhook notifications for successful payments. A workflow in n8n or Make receives the notification, marks the invoice as paid in your accounting software, sends the customer a confirmation and updates the CRM. I set up this kind of flow from €450.
Where can I compare the fees of all Lithuanian providers?
The Bank of Lithuania publishes a comparison of payment service fees for businesses (lb.lt) covering more than 30 banks, credit unions and payment institutions. There you will also find the terms of Swedbank, SEB or Neopay, which I do not compare in this article.
